About The Innovation Team

We are the Innovation team at Strident Computer Systems Ltd (SCS) are Microsoft Gold Partners and have been serving the IT needs of the Business Community of East Anglia for over 20 years.

In 2007, we attended the Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver USA and were introduced to the new SharePoint Server 2007. It was clear to us that this product development would deliver major benefits to our clients, enabling new levels of office automation and thereby significant cost savings.

On our return, we immediately established the SCS Innovation Team, whose job was to research and report on new products and how they could benefit our customers and specifically to learn SharePoint.

The Innovation Team spent the next twelve months learning and understanding how to create SharePoint sites and how to develop web-parts and workflows.   Their learning brief was to create a toolkit of web-parts, designed to address labour intensive activities, common to most businesses. These web-parts can be installed and personalised to suit any organisation and its procedures.

The SCS Innovation Team have completed projects to many customers, who are benefiting from efficiency and cost savings, which have proved invaluable during recent months.

During a recent account management with Microsoft, we were advised that, SCS are ranked within the top 200 UK Microsoft Partners and are ranked Number 1 in the East Region, and much of this rating is attributable to our work with SharePoint.
